How does the process of getting a Quote from you work?

After initial contact via phone or email etc, a meeting/consultation is arranged to understand the clients needs, wishes and desires regarding the Quote. A Quote is then calculated and the client will be contacted with a detailed breakdown of the work to be carried out and an overall cost.
Can I get a Quote without you actually physically viewing the proposed work to be done?
There are many different variables to factor in when Quoting for work to be carried out in the trade of Painting and Decorating. Due to this it is very important to physically be able to see its condition, access to it etc. With this said, It is not possible to give an accurate Quote without viewing/consulting with the client. All that could be offered is an Estimate.
Do you charge by the day or how does your pricing work?
Generally a Quote is calculated using the Lump Sum Method. Meaning a single price is given which encapsulates the total cost of completing all the work discussed.
